Friday Flash Fiction 55 - Standard of Perfection

She is small, feisty, female perfection.
He is anxious to meet her and hopes she will like him.
She flashes her pretty teeth at him as he walks up the drive.
Minding his etiquette, he holds a hand out to her in introduction.
Her sharp bite draws blood.
She is small, feisty, Chihuahua perfection indeed!

  6. Laughing out loud. That is one feminist chihauhau--more power to her, though it looks like she already has quite a bit. Great 55.

  9. Those Chihauhaus don't seem to like being messed with...better figure out their mood before offering a hand to them. Cute little thing though!

  10. Hope it wasn't a first date that was walking up the drive. I had a Chihuahua hurl itself at me - face level as he came at me from on top of the grand piano. It really was frightening.

  11. These little dogs are amazing. They are so devoted to their humans, and although tiny, they have a clear understanding of what it means to go for the throat. My great aunt Katie taught me to love them. And then there was my own dear, Tink. Happy times. Oh, Brandi, how many times does OU have to mop up a Texas team before your hubby stops crying on his pony's neck?

  13. Brandi, I just remembered that we had to record this game. UT looks bad, but I didn't want you to think I knew how the game ended. I know, I know,"Jane, say goodnight."

  14. He is pretty glad TCU is now a member of the Big 12, actually. And it looks like Baylor is not the colossal embarrassment to the Big 12 and to the State of Texas that they once were. SMU would have been good to have, too but...you know...
