Friday Flash Fiction 55 - PMS Logic: It Makes Perfect Sense To Mom (and the rabbits)!

"Why's everyone treating me like a mental patient on a ledge!?"
"The rabbits're the only things you've not yelled at today."
"So."
"So, you got mad when you swiped the cat with the broom and dust went flying, like it was his fault."
"He shouldn't look so damned smug!"
"Or he should be a rabbit..."

      Ohhhhhh....I took the broom to the cat the other day. He was being a nuisance. BUT...I would never broom a bunny.

      I miss Monterey Park, but that area of the world has changed so much in thirty years. My grandmother worked at the Lutheran Home in Alhambra forever and a day, for as long as I can remember. We could see St. Stephens Serbian Orthodox Church from my grandmother's house in Monterey Park. I still have strange lucid dreams about that area of the world, too.
      My other grandmother, the one that worked in the Lutheran Home, lived in East Los Angeles all her life and I did, too, growing up and went to Catholic School there.
